Rehearsal

Rehearsing for the Starbugs gigg on Saturday. It sounds great, with horns and everything. Look forward to it.

I just had to take this picture. Looks rock n roll doesn’t it? This rehearsal place takes me back to when I was like 18.. down in some worn down basement with the band.. Those were the days!

Let’s dance

Last week I sang at an event for the Let’s dance contestants. The jury was also there and David Hellenius was the host for the night. I did ”True colors” and my own song ”Crazy for you”. Sebastian Robertsson played the piano and Hannah Holgersson and Johan Boding did also perform two beautiful songs.
It was a very fun night and we daaaanced all night through 😉

Eurovision song contest

Last week I visited Iceland for the first time. Wow. What a cool country! A real viking landscape, if you know what I mean. With bare fjeld and the hot springs.

Reykjavik is really pretty. The food.. OMG! So good.

But the reason for my visit was not food ;). One of my songs (written together with Marcus Frenell and Maria Björk) was competing in the Eurovision Song Contest in Iceland! The song is called Nótt. In English ”Slow down”.

The very popular Icelandic singer Yohanna is the artist and she preforms the song excellent. She has a beautiful voice. Last year she came second place with the song ”Is it true”.

And guess what? She made it to the final! Hurray! February 12 is the big final in Iceland.

I dooo hope she will win! I wanna go to Germany…

Eurovision Song Contest 2011 – here we hopefully come!

Go Yohanna, go, Yohanna!

Here you can listen to the song (both in Icelandic and English), read about Yohanna and the ESC

Från vinterskrud till morgonstjärna

All December I’ve been out on the road together with Carola on her Christmas tour called ”Från vinterskrud till morgonstjärna”.

We mostly been around Norway but ended the tour in Sweden, Stockholm.

We had a great time. And seeing Norway from a nigh rider (a huge bus with beds, sofas and kitchen) is probably the best way. Norway is beautiful!

Almost all places were sold out and we got good reviews.

Thank you Carola,  Reliable, the crew and all musicians for a great tour.

Happy new year!!
